The Rotary Club of Manila recognized one of ALC Group’s Media Companies, BusinessMirror, as 2021 PRO PATRIA Journalism Awardee. This award recognizes media institutions for bridging fair and truthful information especially in this time of pandemic.

In a speech, BusinessMirror’s president, T. Anthony C. Cabangon, narrated how the busy newsroom of BusinessMirror before the pandemic became empty as all hard-working staff started to work from home. Without a template on how to work remotely, the editorial board was able to pull it off and continue the mission of providing the people a broader look at today’s business- the living mantra of the institution.
